However, there are some instances, where the Style numbers were used for multiple models. This happened most often during the early Curvex years when many of the Curvexes had a very similar shape. It makes sense two similar watches would use the same crystal and thus have the same Style Number. These differing wristwatches are problematic and create situations where the Style Numbers date is earlier than the watchs correct date of availability.
